Information Security Technical Lead Analyst

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Information Security Technical Lead Analyst for its Irving, TX location.

Duties: Provide application vulnerability assessment services to Citi’s global businesses. Identify weaknesses and vulnerabilities in Citi’s critical systems and propose and implement countermeasures to ensure appropriate security procedures are in place. Conduct vulnerability assessments on applications by identifying, researching, validating, and exploiting various known and unknown application security vulnerabilities. Drive remediation by outlining a defense-in-depth approach to business stakeholders and provide strategic solutions to developers on effective security controls and countermeasures. Perform comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of web applications, non-web applications, infrastructures, mobile applications, API, ATM, and architecture reviews utilizing Citi’s customized tools as well as internal policies, procedures, and standards. Act as a subject matter expert in offensive information security. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Engineering, Cyber Security, Computer Science, or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation performing application vulnerability assessments within the IT or financial industry. Five (5) years of experience must include: Conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for web applications, non-web applications, infrastructures, and mobile applications; Leveraging proxy tools to understand and modify traffic sent from client to server; Conducting manual source code review for identifying security vulnerabilities using tools and manual security assessment techniques; Validating and exploiting known and unknown security vulnerabilities on client and server sides using both automated tools and manual techniques; Evaluating the security of Web Application Infrastructure including Application Servers, Web Servers, and Databases; Performing device scanning to discover vulnerable systems and applications; and Reporting information security vulnerabilities to technical and non-technical audiences as well as business stakeholders and articulating the associated security risks. 40 hrs./wk.
