Talent & Diversity Sr Project Analyst (C12) hybrid located in Heredia
The Talent & Diversity Sr Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.
Responsibilities:
- Contributes to the implementation and measurement of key strategies (Talent & Diversity and Inclusion) and processes relating to a diverse bench of future leaders including the talent process, performance management, Multiperspective Feedback, Assessments, coaching, etc.)
- Supports the development and implementation of programs for high potential employees/ diverse employees ensuring a diverse pipeline to meet business needs, partnering closely with L&D, HRA’s, Campus, Program Management and Diversity
- Liaises with the business, HRAs etc. to identify high potential nominations for programs both within the business and at an enterprise level
- Implement and advise on key processes related to talent review/succession planning, diversity pipelines, talent development, succession, performance management etc.
- Partners closely with HRAs, HRPS, HRSS, HRCA to deploy and execute on processes and reporting
- Analyzes and provides insights into efficient and impactful processes
- Represents talent and diversity on Affinity or business operating committees, supporting talent and diversity pipelines and development
- Aids in building external partnerships and positions Citi’s Talent & Diversity and Inclusion brand at key industry forums
- Gains organizational knowledge and skills to deliver quality Diversity and Inclusion outcomes
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of experience in Human Resources
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel
- Self-motivated and detail oriented
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience

This is an operational role that supports the portfolio of franchise-wide talent assessment programs and coaching engagements for senior leaders ranging from high potential MD’s to the Executive Management Team (EMT), having significant impact on multiple complex deliverables. The role will undertake the critical planning and coordination activities to ensure the right output, data governance, and participant experiences are delivered end-to-end with impeccable quality.
Responsibilities:
- Contributes to the implementation and measurement of key strategies (Talent Strategy) and processes relating to Assessments, coaching, etc.
- Partners closely with HRAs, TME teams, other internal stakeholders and external partners to deploy and execute on processes and reporting
- Analyzes and provides insights into efficient and impactful processes
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
- Organizes new challenges with urgency to drive results
- Communicates project milestones, status updates, and escalations promptly
- Removes barriers, resolves project issues and escalates to Program Manager and/or Head of Talent Strategy where required
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of experience related to HR projects
- Advanced English level
- Advanced experience in data analytics
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and detail oriented
- Extensive experience developing project plans, managing multiple deadlines and goals for large, complex programs
- Expertise in defining and monitoring project metrics, data gathering, and reporting
- Ability to identify issues and problems, generate solutions, and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis
- Manage project scope by assessing requirement changes, determining and conveying impact on budget, time and risk
- Manage stakeholder expectations, anticipate and track operational and tactical risks
- Proficient in MS Office applications and Adobe Acrobat Professional with emphasis on MS Excel
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree finished
- Project management experience/ certification is a plus
