The Ops Sup Intermed Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for providing operations support services, including but not limited to; record/documentation maintenance, storage & retrieval of records, account maintenance, imaging and the opening of accounts in coordination with the Operations - Core Team. Additionally, the Ops Sup Intermed Analyst serves as the liaison between operations staff, relationship managers, project managers, custodians and clients. The overall objective of this role is to provide day-to-day operations support in alignment with Citi operations support infrastructure and processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform financial, statistical, and operational studies using analytical skills and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies
  • Interpret data and results based on the analysis of information and application of professional judgement
  • Apply project management to assist operational projects as assigned
  • Perform feasibility analysis for significant process changes and partner with business teams to develop process improvements and solutions that help to streamline the operational workflow
  • Resolve varied and complex issues using professional judgment, discretion, and business expertise
  • Provide informal guidance and training to new and lower level team members, as needed
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • High level knowledge of related to industry standards and practices
  • Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented
  • Proven organization and time management skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Required Licensing/Registration: Series 7, Series 9, Series 10, Series 63,


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

The Human Resources (HR) Ops Sup Intermed Analyst (C11) is an intermediate level position responsible for providing global operations support services in coordination with the Onboarding team. The overall objective of this role is to provide day-to-day operations support in alignment with Citi operations support infrastructure and processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver HR services and build capabilities to drive organizational performance through individuals and managers, identify issues and recommend solutions.  
  • Utilize HR knowledge to assist with identifying/resolving issues in accordance with Citi standards and practices.  
  • Educate employees on how to efficiently utilize self-service tools through direct access channels.   
  • Resolve employee concerns timely and accurately by providing real-time counsel in addressing employee and organizational issues and enhancing managerial/leadership effectiveness. 
  • Support and/or participate in team's initiatives, projects, process improvement efforts as well as ensuring training completion for the team. 
  • Ensure escalated client/employee stakeholder's issues are resolved with urgency and deliver services with a process improvement mindset to increase effectiveness and efficiency.  
  • Support recommendations and monitor completion of HR process and policy improvements using operational metrics, survey results, and other key performance indicators.
  • Ensure consistent application of team process controls and adherence to standard operating procedures. 
  • Assist with the management of all HR issues related to employees and provide advice and guidance on Citi policy and procedures.  
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on HR priorities to ensure delivery of services.
  • Support process and training documents to reflect enhancements and process changes.  
  • Drive consistency and quality in the processes and interfaces. 
  • Identify issue trends and partner with management and respective technical teams to implement solutions.
  • May partner with Risk and Control and Disciplines on issues to ensure appropriate risks are assessed and ensure appropriate actions are taken.  
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.  
  • Responsible for complex tasks and VIP case handling of Global On-boarding Due Diligence and related policies
  • Provide guidance on Citi policy and procedures to both employees and managers.Liaise with Recruiting and other HR Teams where appropriate.
  • Responsible for end to end review of case handling of adverse findings
  • Partner with our recruitment team and process our Rehire Eligibility cases to determine if former employee is eligible to come back to Citi.
