Fin Solutions Sr. Analyst - C12 - HEREDIA
The Finance Solutions Sr. Analyst is a seasoned professional role responsible for working with their Treasury colleagues to conduct analysis into potential data concerns to help prioritize improvements to the firm's Liquidity Reporting accuracy, including FR2052a and impacts to key ratios (LCR/NSFR). Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Able to leverage industry experience to evaluate potential issues across a range of financial product exposures to perform detailed problem-solving.Comfortable working with data and a strong communicator of (at times) complex information. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams, including the coaching of colleagues within the team. Collaborative approach across teams to form conclusions and able to take action resulting in improvements being made to both data and process efficiency for Treasury.
Responsibilities:
- Contributes to the design, roll-out and governance of financial solutions, including:
- Participates in formulating and setting strategic direction for the process, organization and architecture covering Finance across Citi businesses, products, functions and locations
- Assists in setting business and information architecture standards for Finance
- Plays a part in settling and operating necessary forums and frameworks to establish and govern policies and starts for global Finance processes
- Participates in assessing and incorporating changing business, regulatory and market information needs into finance processes and applications
- Resolves complex problems or transactions, where expertise is required to interpret policies, guidelines or processes.
- Manages one or more processes, reports, procedures or products, and considered analytical or procedural "expert" representing a unit or team on cross-function process or project deliverables.
- May supervise day-to-day work of junior level employees.
- Performs other duties and functions as assigned.
- Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
- Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
- Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 4-8+ years of relevant experience, within the financial services industry preferred
- Excellent relational and communication skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Proficient at working with data

- Bachelor's degree
