Job Description
The Banking Segment Controllers team supplies the LFO, Banking Business, and other senior management with reporting, analysis and insight into financial results for the Banking Segment. The Consolidated Reporting and Control Group Manager is a senior management level position responsible for coordination of Banking results throughout the financial close, review of external disclosures and earnings results in coordination with Banking Product Leads and the Banking Controller, and oversight of control activities performed by the Banking Controller team. Additionally, the Consolidated Reporting and Control Group Manager develops reporting and control procedures to accurately prepare information required for financial reporting and analysis. The objective of this role is to ensure consolidated financial results for the Banking Segment are accurate, complete, and timely and to govern control activities that support those results.
Responsibilities:
- Manage consolidated analysis, reporting, and close activities across the Banking Segment globally with interaction with Global Product Leads and Senior Management
- Support the review and signoff of external disclosures and earnings results for the Banking Segment
- Oversee staff supporting Banking reporting and control activities
- Oversight of the Banking Segment Balance sheet in adherence with the Firm’s Balance Sheet Governance standards.
- Manage local process design, adoption and implementation of new controls, and hold the team accountable to adhere to the risk and control framework
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of relevant Finance experience with emphasis on the financial services industry
- Excellent team leadership and partnership skills: ability to work with and influence senior management across both multiple levels of the organization and geographies.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking; Critical thinker/problem solver that can drive qualitative & quantitative analysis, embracing ambiguity in available data & input.
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Master’s degree preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$115,840.00 - $173,760.00
