OTC CCR Data Quality RCA and Remediation team within Enterprise Date Office is responsible for CCR Data Quality remediation, supporting the improvement of Counterparty Credit Risk Data Quality.  Investigate and remediate DQ issues that impact Pre-Settlement Exposure (PSE), Stress Testing, Value-at-Risk (VAR), and Capital.  Work with Technology, Business, and Modelling teams to identify root cause and develop a remediation plan.

Responsibilities:

  • Investigate the CCR  data quality issues to determine the root cause.
  • Define solutions, working with technology and relevant business partners to address DQ issues and deliver risk projects.
  • Remediation of current CCR related Data quality issues and supporting the process of documenting, monitoring, and prioritizing key initiatives for Risk
  • Work with technology to develop plans for consistent usage of data across various risk calculations (PSE, NSE, RWA, Stress Losses, VaR and others).
  • Lead initiatives within businesses, function, and across the enterprise. Ability to communicate strategic insights and updates. Partner with key members of Risk and Technology to develop a cohesive strategy.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • Preferably 6+ years of combined experience in banking and financial services industry.
  • Familiar with the financial markets’ instruments and Credit Risk - Good understanding of Credit risk with focus on derivatives and security financing transactions.
  • Proficient in MS-Excel and data analytics (Tableau / Power BI).
  • Experience with data management tools and applications, including process mapping and lineage toolsets (Ex: SQL, SAS, etc.)
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to manage multiple competing priorities while delivering results quickly and efficiently.
  • Detail oriented, self-starter and able to ensure that complex data governance concepts, issues, policies, regulatory requirements, and industry information affecting the business environment and being able to simply the issues and correctly documented.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Engineering or Information Systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A master’s degree is preferred, but not required.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$100,800.00 - $151,200.00
