Information Security Professional Lead Analyst

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Information Security Professional Lead Analyst for its Fort Lauderdale, FL location.

Duties: Review and analyze information security (IS) incidents to identify those that pose a significant risk to the Citigroup franchise and its affiliates and escalating those IS incidents in accordance with Citigroup policy and procedures. Review the details of all reported incidents to determine whether they constitute an IS incident and verify the accuracy of the reported severity level of an incident. Provide technical subject matter expertise in mitigating risk to impacted parties throughout an incident. Work with internal and external constituents to minimize risks associated with IS incidents, including convening appropriate Subject Matter Experts to assist investigations and ensuring that all relevant facts of the IS incident are properly communicated and reflected in the Security Incident Management application (SIM application). Track follow-up documentation related to an IS incident, including Root-Cause Analyses (RCAs), Lessons Learned, and Security Incident Remediation Plans throughout the incident lifecycle until closure. Ensure that security incident metrics are available to senior management at the business and corporate level. Oversee the quality, availability, and integrity of the data in the SIM Application. Mitigate risk by analyzing the root cause of issues, impacts to business, and required corrective actions, and developing the security solutions. Ensure IS compliance and seek opportunities to enhance the efficiency of IS policies and procedures. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations. Adhering to policy while applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation reviewing and analyzing information security incidents within the financial industry. Five (5) years of experience must include: Performing proof-of-concept and analysis to demonstrate the risk impact of security incidents within an organization and articulating identified risks to technical and non-technical audiences; Coordinating, enhancing, and executing strategic global security programs that are fully anchored to modern control and security frameworks, fully aligned with the current technology, threat-focused, and data-driven; Preventing, monitoring, and responding to security incidents by assessing and prioritizing the severity, impact, and urgency of them and executing information security directives and activities; Mitigating risk by analyzing security data to detect impacts and required corrective actions and developing security solutions; and Utilizing industry standards and frameworks including NIST Cybersecurity framework, ISO/IEC SANS incident response process, response procedures, protocols, network fundamentals, common OS, and the Cybersecurity Triade. 40 hrs./wk.
