Head of Performance and Investment Analytics

The Head of Performance and Risk Analytics will be responsible for the leadership and development of the production supporting our global clients Performance and Risk Analytics service. This will include responsibility for ensuring client requirements and deliveries are met accurately and timely.

The role will involve implementing enhanced operational processes and controls to ensure that Performance service operates in a robust and effective manner enabling the teams to provide exceptional service to Citi clients.

What you’ll do

• Leadership of the teams responsible for our Performance analytics and Investment Risk service ensuring a seamless client experience for their operational deliveries and business needs.
• Build talented client focused teams, proactively encourage employee career development and progression through management processes, appropriate training, and professional development plans.
• Partner with other global functional leads and data source providers across fund accounting, transaction / asset servicing, reporting and technology to ensure a controlled and scalable operating model exists for the Performance and Risk Analytics client deliveries.
• Assess new business and client change on their performance analytics, data and reporting requirements against existing business capabilities and make appropriate recommendations and decisions.
• Evaluate risk and controls, ensuring a robust controls framework is in place, including operational impact of client and legislation changes, ensure compliance to the established control environment.
• Lead strategic initiatives and drive transformation to deliver operational excellence for the global performance and risk service offering.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup and client
• Forge proactive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, external vendors offshore partners, technology, client service teams, product partners and other middle office functions.

What we’ll need from you

• Proven record in leadership roles, interpersonal relations, and talent development is crucial.
• Experienced Financial Services professional with multiple years of experience in a client centric role
• Extensive knowledge of Performance and Risk Analytics with leadership experience in a role within performance and risk analytics either within an Investment Management or Third-party service provider
• Experience leading global teams is essential along with the ability to manage across global teams and partners.
• Experience of developing and delivering on strategic initiatives and driving efficiency for clients is essential.
• Experience of Performance and Risk Methodologies, different asset classes and global fund structures
• Knowledge of Performance applications such as FactSet and data visualisation and reporting tools
• Experience of managing and building relationships with third part service providers.
• CFA, CIPM, IMC Qualification or equivalent.
