IT Project Intmd Analyst - C11 - CIUDAD DE MEXICO
The IT Project Intermediate Analyst is a developing professional role. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Good understanding of how the team and involving areas integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Possesses the necessary technical, leadership and managerial skills acumen required to drive critical issues to resolution through direct engagement and collaboration with partner organizations across TI. Must exhibit sound and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills to exchange complex information with inherent confidence. Ability to work through a multitude of challenges/obstacles to achieve the desired result. Strong analytical, organizational, written and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates activities of an IT infrastructure project team, identifying necessary resources and developing schedules to meet completion deadlines.
- Collaborates in development of project business and system requirements.
- Develops requirement documentation.
- Communicates with project staff and clients regarding status of projects.
- Utilizes project management tools and provides project status tracking, metrics and project estimates.
- Contributes to process improvement efforts.
- Utilizes good understanding of IT project leadership procedures and concepts and basic knowledge of other technical areas.
- Evaluates business processes, system processes and industry standards.
- Applies good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing objectives.
- Provides guidance to new or lower-level analysts.
- Makes evaluative judgments based on analysis of information; resolves problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and guided by precedents.
- Directly impacts the business by ensuring the quality of work provided by self and others; impacts own team and closely related work teams.
- Exchanges ideas and information in a concise and logical manner.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Banamex, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years’ experience in an IT project leadership role with commensurate people management experience.
- Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
Ability to work with virtual and in-person teams, and under pressure or to meet a deadline.
Experience in Financial Services or a broad global or complex environment preferred.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Conversational English.
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
