CITI LATAM Medical Service Sr Lead- C14 - CIUDAD DE MEXICO
Responsibilities:
- Ensures delivery of superior quality occupational healthcare nursing services and is responsible for all administrative aspects of the Health Services office.
- Key Accountabilities:
- Health care: Ensures proper medical care is provided in accordance with all current industry standards and guidelines for the purpose of keeping employees healthy and at work. Provides direct patient evaluation, first aid treatment and consultation to employees who become injured or ill while at work, and when necessary, provide referrals for further diagnosis or treatment.
- Oversees emergency medical response team in conjunction with Security to ensure medical assistance to stabilize, treat and evaluate potential medical emergencies that occur inside or outside the facility.
- Provides technical assistance with establishment and management of all on-site medical facilities
- Administration: Manages all aspects of the health services office. Maintains appropriate written standards of care, scheduling, supervising ancillary staff, maintain and communicating hours of operation.
- Quality Assurance: Monthly chart audits. Obtains necessary supplies and equipment for the unit. Ensures proper standards of safety, hygiene and compliance with OSHA standards.
- Regulatory Compliance: Monitors and implements all regulatory and clinical standards, including documentation, record keeping, blood borne pathogens, respiratory protection and medical waste. Verifies and maintains documented evidence of required training, education and certifications for each healthcare professional.
- Wellness: Works with the Health Promotion Manager and Medical team to implement and monitor the effectiveness of employee health awareness programs.
- Leadership: Provides guidance and builds relationships with staff to optimize positive customer service to our employees. Coordinates and manages emergency response team with Security and Manager of Nursing Services to provide medical assistance to stabilize, treat and evaluate potential medical emergencies that occur inside or outside the facility.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience
- BSN with 7 + years experience in Occupational Health Nursing, Emergency or Critical Care experience
- MSN
- Current BCLS certification
- Excellent computer and vendor management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
Education:
- Bachelors degree, potentially Masters degree

The LATAM Medical Service and Well-being physician is a health care leader who will ensure compliance with country-specific regulations, operational excellence of service execution, and adherence to standards of medical care across the region.
Accountable for developing, collecting, and reporting on metrics related to clinical operations and well-being activities which demonstrate compliance with regulatory mandates and the value proposition of on-site services. Will leverage data to drive decision-making and recommendations for program design, strategy, and execution. Focuses on risk identification, escalation, and control of the activities related to on-site clinics across the geography.
Accountable for oversight of multiple vendor contracts and relationships related to the delivery of clinical and well-being services in country. Extensive collaboration with multiple disciplines (and systems) across the firm including Human Resources, Third Party Management, Risk and Control, Legal, Audit, Records Management, Technology, and Information Security is required.
Subject Matter Expert provide consultation and guidance on health-related issues and situations related to employee well-being in the workplace. The clinical leader must be knowledgeable about Citi benefits, including health insurance and well-being resources, to align with the overall Rewards strategy and prioritize the employee experience.
Responsible for the delivery of high-quality medical services and well-being programs in accordance with current industry standards and guidelines with the purpose of keeping employees healthy at work.
Responsibilities:
- Partner and support the administrative support to execute on medical services and well-being programs
- Collaborate with Global Sourcing to execute Master Service Agreements (MSA) and required contract amendments
- Oversee vendor relationships with Third Party (TP) vendors involved in delivery of services in covered geographies
- Oversight of non-employees (NEMS) working in conjunction with the medical clinics and well-being programs
- Review MSAs to ensure Service Level Agreements are specified and achieved in accordance with terms
- Responsible for oversight of budgetary spending in country with a focus on vendor consolidation and cost optimization
- Support country/local HR with occupational health reporting and audit response
- Consult on issues related to environmental health and safety
- Collaborate with security for coordinated emergency response to building events
- Coordinate with country communication leads to promote medical and well-being topics and events
- Execution/delivery of well-being programs
- Support employees with referrals and recommendations for specialist evaluation
- Subject Matter Expert for medical topics on multidisciplinary crisis management team for scenarios related to epidemic/pandemic response and communicable/infectious diseases,
- Support Human Resources and collaborate with legal and corporate security to respond to situations when there is concern an employee may harm themselves
- Provide support and consultation to Employee Resource Groups and Diversity and Learning partners
- Participate in webinars/virtual health presentation and live speaking events
- Consult on ergonomic and accommodations requests across the geography
- Willing to travel to other countries within the geography, as directed
Education:
- Medical doctorate degree or equivalent from an accredited medical program
- Medical license in country
- Board Certification/Specialty in Occupational Medicine, Internal/General Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine
- Master’s level degree in Public Health, Public Administration, or Global Health preferred
Qualifications and Experience:
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Fluent in written and spoken Spanish
- Communication skills in Portuguese strongly preferred
- 3-5 years previous experience in clinical out-patient setting with background in Occupational Health, Emergency or Internal/General Medicine
- 3 years experience with vendor management preferred
- 2 years experience preparing and presenting on health-related topics
- Certified and licensed to practice clinical care in home country
- Experience with invoice processing and Oracle payments preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Excellent communication skills
