The Project Sr Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure creation of project plan, stakeholder management plan, acceptance plan, and central project issue log.
  • Identify key stakeholders who will participate in project scope definition. Identify, document, and understand project dependencies
  • Ensure appropriate resources are assigned to project & monitor commitment.
  • Ensure change control is executed throughout project.
  • Establish project communication needs and support creation of project communication plan.
  • Track actual project costs, identify variances, and reforecast project costs as needed.
  • Measure project management performance against standards.
  • Create the project risk management plan.
  • Work with procurement team to create, administer, track, and eventually close project contracts.
  • Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge of concepts and procedures within own area to resolve issues.
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years relevant experience


Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience


This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed. Other job-related duties may be assigned as required.

Responsible for the program and project management oversight of technology project portfolio within Mexico Operations’ units, as well cross functional initiatives within Operations. This includes coordinate teams within Operations areas to assure execution and delivery, document program tracking, identify emerging risks, issues and impacts to the program, provide recurrent progress and status report to Sr. Management and Operations Head. Work in collaboration with supporting areas as Compliance and Control, technology and GCB global teams as required in the program.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify improvements for solutions-value proposals
  • Manage and monitor the performance of multiple projects within Operations tech and NonTech projects.
  • Ensure proper update on plans and project management tools
  • Document and escalate emerging risks, issues and impacts on project execution.
  • Provide support to implementation teams and stakeholders of projects.
  • Ensure a successful and timely execution of initiatives on tracking.
  • Implementation of project plans within the required timeframes.
  • Ensure the proper documentation of the projects.
  • Coordinate teams within Operations and Tech as required to ensure project deliverables.
  • Help attain the required quality assurance for the deliverables.
  • Provide recurrent status and progress report to several forums.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in:

  • Demonstrate a consistent track record having worked as a Program or Project Manager, Lead, PMO, managing direct and indirect teams and cross-functional projects
  • Knowledge in project development methodologies used in Banamex (agile, waterfall)
  • Knowledge in institutional tools for project management (PTS, JIRA, Confluence)
  • Program and Project Management strong knowledge (PMP, Scrum certifications are a plus)
  • Knowledge in developing project governance and oversight
  • Proven ability to gather and analyze several data sources, organize findings, build presentations and manage to deadlines.
  • Highly effective communication and influencing skills (verbal and written)
  • Experience working with direct and indirect reports or teams
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task activities
  • Management of new efforts or projects intended for operative improvements. (IT, process, quality)
  • Coordinate several people from several teams cross bank (Operations, Technology, Compliance and Control, Business units)
  • Project financials knowledge
  • Have participated in IT projects as project management role

Education:

  • University degree in Engineering or similar
