Java Senior Developer – AVP - Chennai

Qualifications:

• 8 to 12 years of Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications
• Hands-on experience with Java, Big Data, Spark, Scala, Kafka, Unix, and SQL
• Hands-on experience with Spring framework, Microservices and RESTful Web services
• Hands-on experience with Testing framework such as JUnit, Cucumber for writing unit test
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, and uDeploy
• Good understanding of the latest industry standard best practices such as Design Patterns and Coding Standards  
• Experience in debugging, performance tuning and optimizing components
• Understanding of SDLC, Agile Methodology, JIRA, and Confluence
• Experience with design and implementations of cloud-ready applications and deployment pipelines on large-scale container platform clusters is a plus
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience developing application in Financial Services industry is preferred
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
