Business Banking Lending Product Transformation Lead – C14
Brief Description of the Organization
Business Banking Lending is a core product offering to meet the needs of Citi’s business clients, which is an important client segment for growth. The product team is progressing a transformation agenda to modernize the lending platforms and products to 1) create a competitive customer experience 2) create cost efficiencies to improve product profitability 3) enable future scale growth through digital channels. As the Business Banking Lending Product Transformation Lead you will be responsible for the design and delivery of the new product processor and migration of existing lending customers to the new platform and for future looking development of digital acquisition capabilities.
This position will report to the Head of Small Business Products and Segments.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver and execute the small business product strategy and roadmap across multiphase programs and workstreams including developing Business Lending Products on a new lending product processor platform
- Lead customer migration strategy inclusive of customer experience and engagement
- Contribute to product line, roadmap, and go to market strategy Develop and propose product delivery strategies and tradeoffs
- Lead process engineering efforts that foster simplification, lean systemic process lifecycles, and de-risk
- Be a subject matter expert for small business products, process, and technical applications
- Highly self-motivated, effective communication, problem solving and decision management skills, and has the willingness to learn and adapt in an agile and ambiguous environment
- Manage product approvals, define product requirements, create user stories, define acceptance criteria, oversee testing status, implementation, and post implementation activities
- Maintain and prioritize product backlog
- Identify dependencies, risks, and issues that can impact client experience and product value proposition
- Propose solutions to strength risks and control processes to create long term value and ensures compliance with policy and regulations
- Develop project plans and identify work breakdown structure across product workstreams
- Manage product launch and post implementation plans
- Develop and present senior communication material
- Partner with stakeholders across the bank, including product, program management, technology, operations, legal, and compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Broad experience in managing large complex transformation programs
- Strong business understanding of Citi’s banking products and technology infrastructure
- Strong project management skills. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and under strict guidelines
- Ability to form strong partnership with key stakeholders in other areas and work with them on initiatives; hold accountable when necessary
- Strong leadership skills and ability to influence others to drive execution or approval of strategic recommendations
- Track record of managing internal relationships and demonstrated experience in leading sustained change and change management efforts
- Ability to work in a matrixed organization and drive through organizational change or ambiguity when required.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, analytically, and creatively problem solve
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to confidently present to senior leaders

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$134,960.00 - $202,440.00
