Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Senior Manager to oversee the project portfolio of our EMEA Digital Transformation team. This role requires a deep understanding of technology project management, strong leadership skills, and a proven ability to manage complex projects in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the quality standards, while adhering to Citi's governance and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the EMEA Digital Transformation team's project portfolio, overseeing all aspects of project planning, execution, and delivery.

  • Maintain up-to-date and high-quality project documentation in PTS, ensuring compliance with PQA standards.

  • Proactively identify, engage, and manage project stakeholders, tailoring communication to their level of involvement.

  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, escalating significant matters promptly.

  • Collaborate with Technology project governance teams, staying informed of changes in governance, documentation, and methodology.

  • Ensure projects align with team objectives and the Regulatory and Management Reporting team's strategy.

  • Participate in the budgeting process, forecasting capacity needs, and securing funding for team initiatives.

  • Plan resources effectively, anticipating future project demands and ensuring adequate capacity.

  • Develop a strong understanding of our technology ecosystem and internal policy environment.

  • Cooperate with oversight and lead positions, including application management and partner technology leads.

  • Cultivate a client-first mindset within the team, while considering constraints and dependencies.

Required Skills:

  • 6-10 years of experience in a related technology role with commensurate technical and interpersonal skills

  • Proven ability to manage complex IT projects, including planning, execution, and delivery

  • Fluency in English

  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing and mentoring teams

  • Excellent communication, diplomacy, and stakeholder management skills

  • Deep understanding of project management methodologies and best practices

  • Experience working in a regulated environment, preferably financial services

  • Flexibility in taking on new challenges, shadowing other team members, occasionally assisting with non-PM tasks

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field. Master's degree preferred.

Desired Skills:

  • Track record of successful project management in PTS

  • Experience with KNIME or other low-code platforms

  • Familiarity with Financial Reporting processes

  • Confident in working with Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow
