Cyber Risk Analyst
The Cyber Risk analyst is a CISO professional, and this position supports the Global Functions and Technology business. The Cyber Risk position is critical to ensuring Cyber Risk team can proactively identify and assess, in an ever-evolving risk landscape for 23 businesses supported by Global Function team. The position will help maintain our security posture and ensure that we continue to meet compliance requirements achieving green CSRA metrics. You will join an experienced team of Cyber Risk specialists.
What you will do:
- Act as a Trusted Security Advisor to business and technology teams, guiding them on understanding cyber noncompliance against policy requirements.
- Articulate risk to stakeholders, understanding root cause.
- Share risk-based CISO program escalations, summarize security incidents and key metrics to Cyber Risk leadership to support guidance for stakeholders on risk remediation and reduction prioritization.
- Assist in reviewing results of cybersecurity risk appetite non-compliance, understand the gaps identified, their root causes, impacts, and support in preparing guidance to responsible stakeholders. Demonstrate the ability to draw insights from key themes to remediate risk.
- Apply Citi's cybersecurity standards to noncompliance to guide prioritizing of risk reduction efforts in the context of the control environment.
- Understand program-level reporting and cybersecurity risk appetite.
- Understand risk severity rating and risk aggregation.
- Have ability to assess an issue and articulate whether there are compensating/mitigating controls to reduce risk score
What we will need from you:
- 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks and how they apply to controls.
- Understanding of key security policies and requirements related to an environment.
- Knowledge in information security (networks, application, and infrastructure), application SDLC, and risk assessments.
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
- At least intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.
