The COB & Crisis Management Analyst is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Continuity of Business Planning and Recovery Strategies across Europe, Middle East and Africa Clusters, and ensuring recovery capabilities and testing processes are in place.

  • Ensure effective management of the Enterprise Resiliency program including metrics to provide early & timely detection, reporting, escalation and remediation of Risks and unresolved issues.

  • Support Operational Resilience Program across Citi  by creating materials, track action and remediation items, quality check of submitted materials.

  • Manage the implementation of the Enterprise Resilience Policy and Standards requirements and other Continuity of Business Program elements, including documentation of the Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Business Continuity Plan (BCP).

  • Provide training and constant support to certain lines of businesses.

  • Implement Citi’s Crisis Management program at supported country level.

  • Activate actual Crisis Management Team (CMT) calls, when necessary or requested, using available tools (Outlook, MS Calendar, Crisis Management toolset), and schedule all CMT meetings following cadence and direction from Crisis Commander.

  • Provide support to the CMT and Crisis Commander during crisis events, to ensure that Citi's Crisis Management program is executed.

Qualifications:

  • Business Continuity and audit / compliance / controls experience is desirable.

  • Must be able to interface and coordinate business partners at all levels of the organization.

  • Excellent follow-up skills with attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze situations, identify existing or potential problems, and recommend sound conclusions. Strong analytical skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (English) 

  • Influencing, facilitation, relationship management, project management skills

  • Technical proficiencies in MS Office Suite especially in MS Excel.
