O&T Project Manager will support the CPB EMEA O&T Management in governing and driving various change management initiatives. This is a very hands-on role requiring a combination of project management & business analysis skills. We’re looking for a candidate that is capable and willing to work across broad range of initiatives. Candidate needs to demonstrate strong structured thinking, be well organized and possess good communication skills. Role offers steep learning curve and exposure to senior management – in return very strong ownership is expected.

The range of topics in this role will cover:

  • Involvement in greater transformational initiatives towards recently announced Citi Global Wealth structures
  • Certain regulatory related changes
  • Digitization and automation of client-centric and internal processes.
  • Process Reviews & Improvements
  • Introduction of new applications & third-party services to CPB ecosystem in order to bring new functionality and efficiencies

All of this in very close cooperation with business and control partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the CPB EMEA O&T Management in leading cross-domain change initiatives and driving a culture of change, simplification and client centricity.
  • Manage various initiatives across their entire lifecycle from user journeys, requirements gathering, delivery and test planning, testing, training and implementation.
  • Identify and engage required resources to enable delivery of assigned initiatives.
  • Actively identify and manage resolution of key project risks and issues, or escalate accordingly
  • Lead and manage project committees - prepare and present to senior management
  • Build partnerships across all relevant parties (e.g. Front Office, Product Teams, COO Teams, Control Functions, O&T partners) to assess feasibility, execute and implement assigned initiatives
  • Solicit and act on feedback in order to understand current deficiencies and identify solutions
  • Become the owner for some of implemented services and applications and support them in BAU mode

Knowledge/Experience:

  • Good project management skills – proven track record in implementing change across multiple functions/units.  
  • Experience with projects embracing people, business, process, data and technology aspects.
  • Experience in conducting business analysis, breaking problem down and documenting requirements.
  • Background or interest in digital platforms & new technologies to improve Client Experience and increase business productivity
  • Experience in designing and documenting business processes and user journeys
  • Knowledge of Private Banking and Wealth Management products and services will be an advantage
  • An understanding of regulatory landscape in Banking sector
  • Experience working with many levels of the organization

Qualifications:

  • Degree preferably in an Business Management / Economics discipline or IT and Finance
  • Exceptional candidates who do not meet these criteria may be considered for the role provided they have the necessary skills and experience

  • Ability to concurrently manage multiple work streams / projects
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to deal with conflict and constructively challenge ideas to arrive at optimal outcomes
  • Ability to deal with different levels of front-to-back processes to define and implement strategies
  • Hands-on approach with high level of self-motivation
  • Cope with ambiguity and change – highly adaptable and pragmatic
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing, orally, via presentations and ability to facilitate discussions
  • Fluency in English
  • MS Office Suite, Project Management Tools (e.g. Jira)
