The Price Management (PM) organization is an essential component in delivering profitable growth for Citi’s North American card business. The team develops Cards pricing policy and programs to enhance the customer experience, drive portfolio profitability and ensure regulatory compliance. The team comprises analytical expertise, project execution, and oversight of customer communications and disclosures.

Position Objective: Lead Pricing analytics for Citi Branded Cards Consumer

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop analytical and statistical frameworks to evaluate pricing strategy for Citi Branded Cards
  • Conduct complex data analysis to develop actionable insights based on customer level transaction data and other attributes
  • Develop comprehensive pricing policy recommendations based on multiple factors such as in-depth customer insights (analytically derived), sound financial impact forecasting, thorough understanding of competitive landscape and regulatory considerations.
  • Drive innovative thinking about leveraging new tools/methods to transform the analytical capability of the organization
  • Understand regulatory landscape and develop mitigation / opportunity strategies
  • Ensure robust quantity control in the analytical processes
  • Cross functional leadership (communication and influencing) to drive towards common goal

Qualifications


  • Undergraduate degree in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, or related quantitative field (Master’s degree preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years data and analytic experience using quantitative analysis, preferably in the financial services industry (7 – 10 years preferred)
  • Hands on professional experience with SQL and SAS programming required
  • Credit card experience / Price Management experience preferred
  • Strong analytical, technical and/or statistical skills with proven ability to translate large volumes of data into meaningful information and actions
  • A strong collaborator and influencer who communicates clearly and frequently to both technical analysts and non-technical business leaders
  • Ability to independently lead strategy and analytical projects from idea to implementation (including post-implementation validation and performance monitoring)
  • Ability to prioritize and drive action in a complex environment with multiple competing priorities
