Ops Support Lead Analyst - GCB Global Fraud Prevention

The Ops Sup Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for providing operations support services, including but not limited to; record/documentation maintenance, storage & retrieval of records, account maintenance, imaging and the opening of accounts in coordination with the Operations - Core Team. Additionally, the Ops Sup Lead Analyst serves as the liaison between operations staff, relationship managers, project managers, custodians and clients. The overall objective of this role is to provide day-to-day operations support in alignment with Citi operations support infrastructure and processes.


This position will provide analytics and reporting support for Global Fraud activities.

  • Lead efforts to define and automate the relevant data gathering, analysis and reporting processes that support Global Fraud performance measurement planning and execution
  • Partner with Global SMEs and engage in the automation of key metrics to understand reporting requirements and identify opportunities
  • Execute consistent and robust performance reporting
  • Communicate and escalate to the senior leaders on Global Fraud analytics and reporting
  • Work with the countries and regions on Fraud performance reporting and analysis
  • Execute implementation of consistent and systemic Financial Planning and Forecasting (Losses, Expenses, associated business drivers etc.)

Job Skills/Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent combination of education/experience
  • Advanced analytical skills - Excel skills such as macros, pivot tables and vlookups required
  • Proficient in SAS and Proc SQL is a plus
  • Maintain policies and procedures related to management control assessment (MCA) and records management
  • Strong understanding of business procedures, financial services, and industry knowledge
  • Fraud knowledge preferable
  • Fluency in English (both verbal and written)
  • Working knowledge of process mapping related project work
  • Ability to work globally and partner with the different regions to carry out the business objectives. Previous global/international experience desired.
  • Ability to work across business functions and within different levels of the organization.
  • History of success working in a team environment. This position requires the ability to work as part of a dynamic team, as well as independently.
  • Strong work ethic and energy levels
  • Demonstrated strong execution capabilities
  • Well-developed communication skills, both oral and written (includes advanced presentation development).
  • Ability to navigate through ambiguity and simplify large, complex issues into a logical sequence of action.
  • Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.


  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master’s degree preferred
