The Priority Advisor SAFE Act is a developing professional role.Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems.Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices.Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives.Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Reviews and analyzes a client’s financial condition, rendering advice and making recommendations to help achieve a client’s financial goals. Anticipates and plans for a client's changing financial needs, while adhering to the professional and ethical standards set forth by Citi, FINRA, and other regulatory bodies.


  • Build relationships with new Citi Priority and CitiGold clients with the goal of bringing in new assets.
  • Develop relationships with existing clients in PWM and our retail bank through the use of financial planning and excellent discovery and profiling skills
  • Respond to referrals and introductions generated through business partners and recommend the best offering to clients based on client profiling and suitability assessments
  • Make securities recommendations and provide investment advice to clients through a select number of solutions using firm models & research.
  • Demonstrate to clients and prospects the value of Citi Personal Wealth Management, resulting in asset accumulation, deepening wallet share, while growing revenue and improving retention
  • Manage client follow-up and adhere to all Regulatory and Compliance operating procedures


  • 2-5 years previous banking experience preferred
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and influence others.
  • Attention to detail and excellent time management skills, with a goal of implementing a defined process
  • Working knowledge of related industry practices and standards
  • PC proficiency, including WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint and applicable internal systems.
  • Securities Industry Essentials – SIE - Active Series 7, 66 (or 63 and 65) licenses
  • Group 1 Insurance license
  • Required to register as a mortgage loan originator with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry ("Registry") and obtain a unique identifier from the Registry before engaging in mortgage loan originator activities, to maintain and renew that


  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
