Senior VBA\SQL Developer

Securities Services Operations is a dynamically growing group within Citi providing Fund Accounting, Middle Office and Custody services to investment funds across the globe. The Rapid Automation Development Team is looking for VBA\SQL Developer to join the established team of Developers dealing with the automations across the global business. The primary goal of the team is to work closely with the Operations on establishing appropriate solutions to get rid of manual work, implement the tools, service the existing ones.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting Visual Basic solution (VBA EXCEL, VBA MS ACCESS), SQL queries and VB.NET.

• Building solutions in Low Code Application Platforms f.e. Oracle Apex using PLS SQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.

• Identification of best suiting available technical solutions depending on the business case

• Critical approach to status quo, waste, inefficiency in processes

• Initiation and execution of technical improvements

• Coordination of projects related to internal clients.

• Supporting Fund Administration, Custody, Middle Office operations areas with technical automation

Qualifications:

• 5-7 years relevant experience

• VBA programming skills (Excel, Access)

• SQL\PL SQL knowledge required

• VB.NET, HTML, CSS, PL\SQL will be a plus

• Experience with toolset like Oracle Apex, Appian, RPA, Bitbucket, GIT will be a plus

• Experience with methodologies ITIL, Agile, Lean will be a plus.

• Knowledge about Fund Accounting, Middle Office, Custody areas will be a plus

• Fluent English
