Responsibilities
At the Citi Technology Infrastructure (CTI) Global Production Operations we operate multiple services and technologies and are currently seeking a talented person to lead our Distributed Platform as a key part of the CTI Global Command Centre Management Team. As the Distributed Lead you will run a function providing Service Monitoring, Level-1 Infrastructure Support, and Change Implementation. This is all done from our state of the art regional Command Centre in partnership with the Platform Leads for other services and in cooperation with our other Operations centres located in North and South America, Europe and Asia. This role will have a direct reporting line into the Global Platform Head to promote collaboration and consistency.
This position gives an excellent deal of liberty to self-determine organizational and career direction. Being in a Technology Leadership role it is expected you demonstrate competency in people leadership and in Infrastructure Technology having an operational aptitude to influence people, drive process improvements and advance the services to the next levels.
Role and Responsibilities:
In this role you will be responsible for all aspects of the team and function within the region, including people management, operational oversight, Continuity of Business, project management and continuous improvement of the processes and services.
- We will work together with the Major Incident function to ensure proper execution of processes and recovery of the business. This will include direct engagement and acting as the service owner.
- You will have the opportunity to learn about risk and governance in support of audit reviews.
- Key to your success will be the acquisition and development of talent. We view this as our first priority.
Requirements:
That position will require you to convey technical information to large audience with various levels of technical knowledge base, including a business management audience that may lack a deep technical understanding of Distributed Computing technology.
- Distributed Computing operations support experience is required
- Possesses of the necessary technical skills and operational support acumen required to drive critical issues to resolution through direct supervision and/or collaboration with partner organizations.
- Prioritizes duties and responsibilities effectively with high energy.
- Adapts changes in a dynamic technology operations environment.
- Drives communication between business leaders and IT.
- Maintains clear personal work ethic that inspires quality and enthusiasm.
- Demonstrated technical competencies and history of increased responsibilities during previous three years.
- Background in a global/multi-national operating environment is favorable.
