KYC Operations Senior Manager - C13 (Hybrid)

The KYC Operations Senior Manager is a senior management-level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department to provide Anti-Money Laundering (AML) monitoring, governance, oversight and regulatory reporting services in coordination with the Compliance and Control team. The overall objective of this role is to drive the development and management of a dedicated internal KYC (Know Your Client) program at Citi.

Responsibilities:

• Management oversight for KYC Quality Control (Checker)  process for EMEA countries across 4 locations: Poland - Warsaw, Olsztyn, Hungary and Turkey – Manager of Managers role
• Ensuring creation and implementation of KYC checker process strategy
• KYC Quality governance for Poland hub including representation on EMEA Quality governance forum, cooperation with local stakeholders and global partners from PEQR/IPR/REM teams
• Monitoring of KYC team adherence to KYC Procedures and Standards , execution of Quality KYC reviews in line with Quality KPIs and SLAs
• Checker team performance measurement and management
• Continues improvement of Quality performance across KYC Ops team on site level, training program enhancement
• Cooperation with global and regional PEQR/IPR/REM partners

Qualifications:

• Previous management experience required
• At least 5 years of KYC/ AML experience (KYC experience preferred)
• Good understanding of KYC processes and challenges
• Good communication skills and proactive approach
• Fluent English
• Change management would be an asset

Education:

• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Master's degree preferred
