We're hiring a Junior Frontend Developer to build the next generation of systems for Citi Private Bank businesses. We are utilizing technology to meet complex trader, supervisory and regulatory requirements and the demands of an increasingly electronic business.

The development position involves:

  • Participation in a fast-paced Agile development process

  • Development of high-quality software, emphasizing simplicity, maintainability and reuse

  • Participation in code and design reviews

  • Working proactively on diverse and innovative solutions

  • Communication with support, other development teams, and infrastructure teams

  • Thorough testing including test automation and performance/load testing

  • Contributing to architectural standards, development best practices, and promoting adherence to these standards

  • Contributing to architectural and technical evolution of frameworks and APIs


  • The ideal candidate will be a seasoned developer with at least 2 years’ commercial experience including at least 1 years of Angular/React/FrontEnd framework development;

  • familiarity with Typescript; and solid knowledge of modern HTML, JavaScript and CSS.


  • programming and UI development skills.

  • Good level knowledge of HTML 5, JavaScript and Angular/React/other JS Frontend Frameworks.

  • Commercial experience in Typescript scripting

Desirable Skills:

  • Web site UX design

  • Investment Banking Experience is an advantage

  • Knowledge of HTTP, RESTful web services and API design

  • Experience with messaging technologies

  • Exposure to: Git/BitBucket, Jira, VS Code, npm, AG Grid
