Job Description

Citi’s Internal Audit Group is looking for talented students or graduates with technical background to join the team in Warsaw. Internal Audit is a change agent within Citi aimed to enhance the control culture of Citigroup worldwide and thereby support senior management decision making around the globe.

Banking sector is undergoing a digital transformation right now due to rising competition from fin-tech startups and increasing concern for cyber-security. You will have an opportunity to be part of this endeavor. Take the opportunity to be part of IA Technology team, and participate in audits of cutting-edge information technology at Citi. If you don’t have a relevant experience in auditing Information Technology at a bank, do not worry – you will get up to speed very quick with ongoing support from Citi's experienced IT auditors.

Citi’s Internal Audit Graduate Program is a 24-month rotational leadership program which provides development-focused opportunities coupled with structured classroom training, mentoring and individual development.

As an analyst on the world’s largest Internal Audit team, you will gain an understanding of internal audit best practices, learn about Citi’s businesses and the risks it manages, and apply this knowledge to develop and execute audit work in order to provide the highest quality and timely audit assurance to Citi’s key stakeholders.

During your two 12-month rotations, you will get hands-on experience in two areas of Internal Audit: Technology (including Infrastructure, Applications and Information Security), Data/Innovation, Compliance, Institutional Clients Group, Risk and Finance. Most opportunities will require and enable cross-functional exposure, giving candidates a well-rounded experience at Citi.

  • Good knowledge of selected IT disciplines (applications’ development, IT operations, infrastructure and cybersecurity management)

  • Knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques will be advantageous

  • Strong oral and written English communication skills

  • Problem-solvers with strong critical thinking skills

  • Able to work closely with Internal Audit colleagues on different engagements and translate the engagement objectives into technical requirements

  • Quick thinking with methodical, investigative attitude and attention to detail

  • Ability to multi-task


  • Graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in 2021 or Masters.

  • Majors: Quantitative Methods in Economics and Information Systems, Computer Science, Math, Econometrics, Engineering
