The Executive Compensation Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within Regulatory Compensation field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.

Your responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with other disciplines such as tax, legal, finance, and technology, and impacts compensation end results through project management and client relationships
  • Focuses on regulatory initiatives within the Compensation function, and assists in the equity buy-out process when onboarding high-level employees across the firm
  • Works closely with other Subject Matter Experts to develop and modify executive compensation strategy/policy and approach
  • Responsible for preparation of regulatory reporting to KNF, NBP etc. and partners with Legal and/or Compliance to deliver them
  • Administers legacy deferred compensation plans
  • Administers Bank Handlowy equity based motivational plan
  • Applies expertise to field more complex enquiries from senior executives
  • Develops relevant communication materials for Executive Compensation recipients
  • Applies technical expertise in Compensation principles, practices and procedures in the completion of assignments
  • Impacts compensation end results through project management and client relationships
  • Partners and consults with HR Generalist, and other Senior Compensation team members to implement and deliver on projects
  • Manages multiple projects across multiple teams and has the ability to influence decisions
  • Project management and program execution for new compensation policies and pay management across the business
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Bank Handlowy, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
  • Additional duties as assigned

Our qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 3 years in the comp&ben/regulatory area
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel
  • Ability to meet deadlines while dealing with multiple priorities
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to speak English and Polish fluently is required
  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree
