Citi Bank Europe is the main EU banking entity for Citi in EMEA with a presence in 25 European countries. It covers several key business lines including Markets and Securities Services, Treasury and Trade Services, Corporate and Investment Banking, Consumer and others.
Job Purpose:
The Data Quality Group Manager is accountable for management of complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas and a delivery of a full range of services to one or more businesses/ geographic regions.
The Incumbent will assume a full management responsibility of a team or multiple teams, including management of people, budget and planning, to include performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations and budget approval. They will exercise control over resources, policy formulation and planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Manages multiple teams or a functional area (depending on size of business).
Maintains creation and signoff of program plan and charter, benefits management plan, stakeholder management plan, acceptance plan, and central program issue log.
Monitors vendor performance and ensures actions are taken if performance warrants.
Exercises shared responsibility for budget, policy formulation and planning.
Evaluates subordinates' performance and makes recommendations for pay increases, promotions, terminations, and other personnel actions.
Ensures that timely updates are made to each IMR under management and that the information in the IMR’s is accurate and complete.
Ensures that the system impact for any related systems are taken into effect in the change management process prior to implementation
Strategically define the vision for the Global IMR process.
Responsible for reporting findings, and recommending appropriate technology interventions, where needed.
Is consulted often by others for advice and opinions. businesses should rely on his/her abilities to deliver the desired solution without feeling it necessary to monitor the progress at the micro level.
Interacts heavily with Technology and Business operations teams as well as Operations Compliance, ARR and external regulators.
Proactively advances integrated Global IMR vision, concepts and Use of information technology.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
10+ years experience with defining and implementing data quality programs
Software experience
Problem Solving skills
Excellent communication skills in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior executive level
Strong commercial awareness and in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions
Strong influencing skills and matrix management skills in order to ensure IMR solutions meet business requirements.
Fluent English
Strong MS Office/Excel skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience / Masters degree
