The Data Management Support Analyst is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Be a Subject Matter Expert in Deposits, Overdrafts & Cash and support consumers on their data requirement, guide Product processor teams implement the IMR resolutions and help DRA implement tactical solutions.
  • Coordinate data quality efforts such as DQ measurement, DQ reporting, DQ maintenance and DQ improvement.
  • Work with reporting and consumption teams to identify and collate data requirements for different types of reporting e.g. US and Local Regulatory Reporting, Liquidity Reporting, CCAR, BCBS and beyond.
  • Support new consumption onboarding. Define requirements for annual enhancement  to data elements in acquisition.
  • Actively support the resolution of important data issues reported by consumers through the CR / IMR process.
  • Define Data Quality requirements & test development. Project plan scorecard rollouts in coordination with Chief Data Office, Technology and Consumption / Requirements teams.
  • Investigate the issues identified in Data Quality monthly scorecards and disposition them appropriately.
  • Support DQ issue remediation via Issue Management Resolution (IMR) process and other strategic and tactical resolutions.
  • Participate in Data Quality process re-engineering and improvement initiatives.
  • Work as part of the GENESIS program to adopt new / changes to Citigroup Data Standards and actively support the FRI efforts to support quality data consumption.
  • Maintain and enhance Product Data Models, DQ Scorecards, Critical Data Elements & Business rules.


Qualifications:

  • 2-5 Years of Data Management Experience, Analytical skills, problem solving, basic computer skills


Education:

  • Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience
