Responsibilities
You’ll be a part of a very dynamic team focused on the following types of activities:
- Reconciling, processing, and submitting tax reclaim applications, on the back of distributions paid to our Clients, to the official tax authorities in various countries across the entire globe
- Supervises a small team covering tax reclaim process
- Resolving queries raised by tax authorities, clients or other 3rd parties
- Providing support to other tax processes if needed
- Assisting with special reports and projects
- Participating in new process onboarding if required
Your key responsibilities:
- Leading a small team consisting of tax reclaims specialists
- Controlling the quality of the tax reclaim process
- Managing standard duties such as hiring, performance evaluations, promotion, compensation adjustments, motivation, potential disciplinary actions etc.
- Managing the Onboarding of new clients or processes
- Building safe environment to test new solutions and encourage outside the box thinking.
- Encouraging team members to challenge our process in order to identify and mitigate risks
- Developing and mentoring junior team members
- May act as backup for manager and perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 4-5 years relevant experience
- Fluency in English
- Computer literacy
- Experience in leadership and team play attitude
- Ability to organize work efficiently and meet deadlines
- Strong creativity, innovation, problem solving skills
- Willingness to develop and learn fast
