The Team

Are you passionate about risk management and analytics? Join our dynamic Wholesale Credit Risk Reporting and Monitoring Team in DART as Credit Portfolio Junior Analyst. In this role, you will play a critical part in reporting and monitoring risk across key portfolios including leverage lending, specialised products, and wealth product programs.

You will also collaborate closely with internal teams across the globe and address regulatory recommendations for U.S. regulators. As part of this role, you will work alongside with Senior Risk Manager, who will provide mentorship and guidance to help you excel in your career.

The Role

DART - Data Analytics, Reporting and Tech is part of Risk Management organization in Citi. It is the leading risk data analytics, reporting and modelling team.

This role will specifically support Wholesale Credit Risk Management (WCR). We are a group of 20+ experts in designing and implementing solutions to provide high-quality reporting to respond to the Regulators' requirements and to Citi Board and Senior Management. We produce automated reports (mainly in Tableau) with the exposure to the approved limits and thresholds.

We apply our broad risk knowledge to monitor credit exposure which include both lending and counterparty risk. We drive automation solutions and participate in the buildout of the advanced tech systems. We are a critical stakeholder to design and implement solutions to address the Regulators' requirements. We track and control the quality of data used to produce our reporting.

What you will do

  • Risk Reporting and Monitoring: Oversee portfolio risk limits across leveraged lending, specialized product, and wealth product programs, ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements
  • Data Analyst: Work with complex datasets to produce actionable insights, monitor trends, and identify potential risks
  • Regulatory Engagement: Address and respond to regulatory enquires and ensure compliance with reporting requirements provided by U.S. regulatory standards
  • Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to enhance risk management framework and improve reporting accuracy
  • Visualization and Reporting: Leverage Excel and Tableau skills to design, develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations that inform stakeholders and leadership
  • Mentorship Opportunity: Collaborate with and learn from an experienced Senior Risk Manager, who will provide support and expertise as you grow in the role

What we will need from you

  • Fantastic attention to detail; a strong ability to analyse large datasets and identify trends, risk, and opportunities
  • Strong MS Office skills coupled with a good understanding and working knowledge of Tableau for data visualization and reporting
  • Meticulous in monitoring risk limits and producing regulatory-compliant reports.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey risk findings and insights to colleagues and key stakeholders
  • Foster a collaborative approach to working across teams and departments
  • Previous employment within a credit risk, data analyst, or a similar working environments is highly desirable
