Job Description

The key objective of this role is to be part of Commercial card project core team for successful end to end implementation of project. The role offers tremendous exposure to diverse areas within the bank enabling the candidate to develop by interacting with in-country Product, Implementations, Global/Local Technologies, Regional Ops as well as corporate setup and other relationship teams in the region. The candidate should play a highly visible and vital role in supporting the businesses through its vendor partners on innovating, developing, implementing and leading initiatives relating to Operations goals and objectives for Japan Commercial Cards business.

Responsibilities:

  • Understanding Commercial card functionalities end to end process.
  • Leading UAT (User acceptance Test) for Technology delivered functions
  • Business (Operation) UAT scenario, cases preparation, execution, tracking and issue resolution.
  • Ensuring Production Validation Test (PVT) successful completion.
  • Effective communication with cross functional teams, vendors
  • Operation Manual, Processes revision
  • Active participation in Project Implementation
  • To assist Tokyo Cards Operations lead to define the operations framework and road map and implement it within key vendor partner frameworks and in-country teams.
  • To ensure all current state Citi processes are documented in a standard format.
  • Preparations within audits performed in Cards, with activities executed as and when required
  • Identify and drive opportunities to standardize Citi processes using Process Excellence.
  • Manage risks, issues or escalations for card related tasks
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
  • Operation Process Excellence & Automation

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a related role within project management
  • 2-5 years of experience in Banking, Finance
  • Knowledge and experience in Card business
  • Effective verbal and written skills – English, Japanese Advanced level is preferred.
  • Effective communication and analytical skills
  • Effective relationship management skills
  • Effective vendor management skills
  • Expert level proficiency in Windows, MS Project, MS Office (MS word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Effective presentation skills


Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
