The Relationship Associate is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the sub-function/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day client servicing, handle and provide timely resolution to client issues
  • Validates client data and documentation in relevant systems
  • Takes the lead to coordinate and follow-up across internal departments to solve client needs
  • Ensures timely completion of Know Your Customer (KYC) and other regulatory requirements, in partnership with product partners and Relationship Managers (RMs)
  • Helps clients to access Citi’s global network, locating local coverage and product support across the globe
  • Works with RMs (Relationship Manager) and product partners to on-board new clients/new subsidiaries and KYC/initial credit set-ups completed
  • Support RMs with new client acquisition / prospecting, create marketing materials, assist with client meetings, take meeting notes and track deliverables
  • Provides feedback to client related to emerging product needs, competitive practice and ideas on process/product improvement
  • Maintains correct client legal and marketing hierarchies
  • Partners with Credit Admin team to ensure credit documentation is kept current
  • Assists in implementation of cash management transactions for bankers and product partners
  • Analyzes client data and provides reporting as needed
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

Qualifications:

  • Commercial/Corporate banking experience of 3 years
  • Relationship skills and ability to maintain an effective network across the organization are a must
  • Organizational skills are a must
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • MS-office skills: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluency in English and Hebrew required (written and spoken)
  • Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience
