VP / Senior Compliance Analyst

The Senior Compliance Analyst will effectively coordinate and enforce firm level compliance policies and guidelines at the enterprise application level. Proactively collaborate with broader application team to take charge in breaking down policy requirements and to consistently execute on requirements. The ideal candidate is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments at the organizational level and contributes directionally at the application level. Candidate will have a working understanding of the technical architecture associated with the enterprise application and must be an able practitioner of the policy. The candidate will be a recognized authority on the compliance policies and must be able to provide executive summary to senior leadership on a frequent basis.

Candidate will display mature communication and diplomacy skills in order to guide and influence application team in adopting policies.

Responsibilities:

• Leads and coordinates day-to-day activities related to managing the application's operational compliance and risk management expectations.

• Applies in-depth understanding of the specific compliance metrics required to guide and influence team in the execution and measurement of the metrics.

• Stays abreast with recommended or mandated training and development in the areas of compliance and risk management.

• Closely monitor for non-compliance of issues, evaluating risks and issues and communicating risks and potential risk mitigation plan to leadership on a timely basis.

• Takes ownership of accurately assessing criteria for creation of Corrective Action Plan and applies sound contextual judgement in the creation process.

• Establishes a consistent routine and functional cadence for senior leader level reporting.

• Appropriately assess level of risk of non-compliance and particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding

• Must be highly organized to effectively manage multiple streams of compliance metrics

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience of program management experience

• 6+ years compliance experience

• 3+ years financial industry experience is preferred

• Must have excellent communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities through careful prioritization.

Education:

• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experienc
