As a member of Citi’s Business Continuity Management (CBCM), the COB & CM Lead Analyst role will perform analytical and coordinating work.  The successful candidate with be responsible for working with the CBCM team member in analytical work and creating presentations.   This includes ensuring major deliverables are met on a timely basis, clarifying objectives/criteria, handling application CoB queries, and providing COBTRAC support. The role requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Excellent communication and diplomacy skills are required.

Responsibilities:

  • The COB & CM Lead Analyst supports Citigroup's Continuity of Business (COB) organization within Chief Operating Office (COO) - Enterprise Resiliency (ER) group.
  • Interfaces with technical staff to support the technical recovery coordination role.
  • Subject matter expert in at least one security and/or COB technology or policy discipline.
  • Manage risk by working with the application teams to analyzing the root cause of issues, impact to business and work with respective Risk and Control teams to open required corrective action.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to assure information is shared timely and professionally.
  • Develop procedures and process control manuals.
  • Generate metrics and manage productivity to ensure service level agreements and client expectations are met.
  • Produce requirements documentation in both written and diagrammatic form.
  • Attention to detail and ability to discuss document and confirm process flows.
  • Ability to provide feedback for areas of improvement and realign strategy accordingly.
  • Collaborative approach must be able to work closely with team members and clients.
  • Flexibility and Autonomy are essential as some out of hours work may be required.
  • Able to manage, report and escalate any CoB control issues and provide transparency.

Qualifications:

  • Must be strong Analyst – to analyze and review large data volumes and report on it.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously on fixed deadlines and prioritize deliverables.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, written and verbal in English.
  • Understanding of application and/or infrastructure environment, including cloud and/or robotics environment would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of disaster recovery methodologies and technical testing strategies would be an advantage.
  • Advanced project management, data analysis and reporting ability; with a good understanding of supporting technologies (applications, reporting tools, and data presentation).
  • Hands on approach and able to manage own workload whilst taking direction.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
