Responsibilities
The Capital Planning team within Citi Treasury is responsible for all aspects of capital analysis, forecasting and planning for Citi, including providing programmatic leadership for the management of the firm’s capital ratios, CCAR filings and related Capital Adequacy Assessments, and Recovery & Resolution Planning. The organization spans the full capital planning continuum, with the Head of Capital Planning reporting to the Citi Treasurer.
The Capital Planning team includes a dedicated Transformation function that articulates and executes the strategy by which Citi will achieve its Capital transformation goals and provides central leadership over the execution of the necessary remedial actions to deliver the firm’s Spot RWA and Planning target state, as required to address the FRB and OCC Consent Orders.
The Capital Transformation organization seeks a key contributor to support the Oversight and Communications function which provides strategic communications to seniors, second and third line of defense auditors, the Board and regulators. This role will play an integral part in executing and supporting the firm-wide, cross-functional plans necessary to close the gaps identified by the Consent Orders and other relevant deliverables over a multi-year timeframe.
Reporting Structure and Responsibilities:
The Lead Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Capital Transformation Oversight and Communications lead by:
- Coordinating the business management activities for the Capital Transformation organization, including headcount management and interfacing with centralized staffing office on contractor hiring requirements
- Supporting organization/people strategy goals including communications strategy, talent strategy, and employee engagement initiatives
- Managing compliance related activities and reporting
- Supporting the implementation of changes, as necessary, to the Capital Planning Transformation organization to enhance internal management processes and satisfy evolving regulatory developments
- Developing a strong working relationship with the leadership team across Capital Transformation in support of their individual responsibilities and develop holistic practices in which the organization executes on management responsibilities
Qualifications
- Exceptional communication skills, including well-developed verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail with proven ability to distill complex ideas into simple stories
- A self-starter with ability to independently manage work and drive multiple deliverables concurrently.
- Ability to gain consensus and agreement across disparate functions, products and geographies.
- Must have ability to stay ahead in a constantly changing environment. Must be a change agent, ensuring others understand current direction.
- 5+ years of relevant experience within financial services industry.
- Bachelor's/ University degree or equivalent experience.
