Job Description

This position is part of the Accountability, Culture and Talent (ACT) work-stream formed to lead Citi’s transformation efforts, which aims to respond to the consent order and other regulatory initiatives as well as define the go-forward state and sustainably embed solutions. These efforts require a high degree of focus and change management across various businesses and functions. This position will play an important role in developing and launching communications to drive the change, to support the transformation efforts in line with the target state.

The Talent Model Program’s objective is to strengthen the risk and control capability across the organization and refine Citi’s Employee Value Proposition (EVP) for risk, control, and other roles in order to develop, motivate, and retain the best talent. The program also aims to refresh Citi’s talent development strategy, processes and programs, in line with the strategic business objectives and regulatory requirements.

The Talent Transformation Internal Communications Analyst will be a key team member in the development, execution and communication of various initiatives geared towards enhancing or modifying existing processes and programs or creating net-new initiatives to meet identified needs.  Some of these initiatives would be for risk and control groups, while the others may have broad organization-wide impact. Strong communication, organization and diplomacy skills are required. Work and performance of team is directly affected by the performance of the individual.


  • Develops communication plans, content and stakeholder information collateral to drive understanding and adoption of Talent Model initiatives.
  • Coordinates the delivery of communications with regional, business and transformation teams for the Talent Model transformation.
  • Partners closely with Global Public Affairs and the central ACT team to coordinate and align  communication strategy and execution.
  • Partner with Talent Transformation leads to support the change management plans, aligning communication strategy to manage change.
  • Understands the talent transformation priorities; and integrates these insights into the talent transformation communication strategy.
  • Coordinates logistics for communication and training sessions related to Talent Model initiatives and stakeholder forums (e.g, Readiness Roundups).
  • Communications will integrate corporate strategies and business goals into audience centric messaging to provide understanding and value to unique audiences.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, anticipating communication needs.
  • Develop and report metrics that measure effectiveness of communications plans, messages and vehicles.
  • Supports planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities of running a program/initiative or portfolio of programs/initiatives. 
  • Manages program related logistics for the execution phase including, coordinating speakers, scheduling sessions, program participants, collecting assessments, etc. 
  • Manage internal communications to ensure consistency across written communications, newsletters, presentations, senior town halls, websites, etc.


  • 6-10 years of experience
  • Demonstrated track record of conducting successful, proactive and strategic communications programs that employ creativity and use a variety of tools, forums and media
  • Developed communication and diplomacy skills in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas
  • Well versed in change management theory and practical applications
  • Ability to build relationships as a trusted partner with colleagues across regions, business lines and levels
  • Flexible and highly adaptable – ability to pivot quickly
  • Operate with curiosity- challenge traditional approaches, incorporates diverse perspectives
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and push through business challenges
  • Strong execution capability. Ability to drive results and demonstrate a strong sense of accountability and follow through
  • Ability to energize others around a task/idea and maintain optimism
  • Ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented


  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
