SVP / Program Manager - Third Party Management Simplification
Leverage GRC Risk Taxonomy and scoring methodology to align with Citi’s Risk Governance Framework.
Enhance new risk assessment methodology that is data-driven, with a simplified process and experience for users.
Streamlined Sourcing and TPM processes, including Onboarding and Ongoing Monitoring, with faster cycle times
Unified platform that replaces multiple systems with robust configurable workflow.
Streamlined governance aligned to Citi’s Risk Management Framework.
New operating model that right-places activities across different actors, including the centralization of execution activities in utilities
Provide training to all key roles, i.e., BAOs, BAO Support, and ESC Sourcing managers and other key roles in the future operating model.
Ensure supporting processes and procedures are in an operational readiness.
Formal acceptance and approval of TPM Transformation Program by Executive Sponsors.
Responsibilities and priorities will reflect needs of the specific programs and will evolve over time, however the following are some of the specific activities expected of this role:
Represents the Program Management in the daily interactions with the Project/work stream owners, Program Manager and provides strategic direction for the requirements being delivered
Responsible for implementing and executing requirements for the program , in conjunction with the project teams, validates that the proposed solutions meet the business purpose. Accountable to the Program Management for the delivery of the Program
Acts a single point of contact (POC) and escalation between the various businesses and GPMO
Ensures sufficient business resources are allocated to the Program to ensure success and assists program team in negotiating for resources owned by other departments in order ensure the program is completed within stated time lines
Provides support to program / project teams as they execute against the objectives and scope of the program
Drives adherence to standardized program processes, procedures, methods, and standards for program delivery, reporting and stakeholder communications
Addresses interdependencies between projects
Participates as a member of the Executive Steering Committee
Review and challenge all high and medium severity program risks and issues
Review and present for approval all mitigation plans for approvals for all high severity program-level risks and issues; approve all medium risk mitigation plans.
Acts as escalation point for key risks and issues requiring resolution / response
Acts on behalf of Sponsors, with delegated authority, if required
Accountable for decisions on scope, time and budget at Program level
Review and challenge the change requested
Approve program milestone level changes
Approve Critical Changes not affecting end date of Milestones
Escalate Critical Milestone Changes to Program sponsors
Review and approve Program Red/Amber/Green (RAG) changes
Review, challenge and Approve Critical Milestone status at Program level
Leads the facilitation, coordination, and arbitration of cross-functional macro level topics within/across programs and with Senior Management
Leads the identification and drive resolution of issues, including those outside established programs of work
Collaborates on the communication of status, issue, and risk disposition to all stakeholders, including senior management, on a timely basis.
Responsible for early identification of emerging risks potentially impacting program delivery and ensure mitigation strategies are developed, presented for approval and executed when necessary.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as, effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
10+ years of experience, including 8-10+ years managerial experience
Demonstrate a consistent track record having worked as a Program or Project Manager, Lead, PMO or department head, managing teams and large, strategic cross-functional projects
Previous program/project management, consulting, technology and/or management
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
Strong project management skills; ability to gain consensus among staff and drive initiatives to completion effectively
Strong interpersonal, influencing and organizational skills to mobilize and motivate delivery in a cooperative and collaborative working environment across functions/geographies and lines of business
