The HR Regulatory Engagement team ensures the Human Resources organization maintains strong and productive regulatory relationships with US Regulators, particularly the Federal Reserve, OCC and FDIC and oversees the HR related interaction across all countries.  The team proactively manages regulatory matters to ensure the organization is well positioned and responsive in regulatory interactions. The team partners closely with subject matter experts to:

  • Oversee and coordinate regulatory examinations and reviews to ensure the risk organization proactively addresses regulatory requests and concerns;
  • Manage regulatory interactions, including recurring liaison meetings and ad hoc information requests, to strengthen regulatory relations;
  • Produce thematic summaries to Senior Management on regulatory interactions and developments to provide insight and advice;
  • Support the development of appropriate and comprehensive responses and validate the remediation plans when regulatory issues and concerns are identified; and
  • Work closely with partners in other Businesses and Functions, to ensure consistent and clear communications to regulators.


The SVP for Regulatory Engagement will be responsible for:

  • Leading strategy and execution of the global regulatory inventory and change management programs to ensure completeness and accuracy of the regulations.
  • Managing effective working relationships and partnering with key stakeholders and subject matter experts across relevant risk segments to ensure a more integrated approach to regulatory inventory management.
  • Leading production of reporting to senior management on the global regulatory inventory and change management programs.
  • Designing and implementing processes to globally identify key existing and emerging HR regulations and verify adherence.
  • Supporting and advising more junior team members in the execution of administrative requirements for regulatory inventory management.
  • Assisting in high priority regulatory ad hoc projects across their lifecycle by identifying and structuring problems, analyzing root causes, developing solutions, communicating project results, and obtaining buy-in for change


  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated ability to relate to and influence individuals at all levels
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication


  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master’s degree preferred
