Structured Asset Manager/Underwriter - ICM UW CCC
The Citi Community Capital (CCC) Business within Citi’s Institutional Credit Management (ICM), is seeking to hire a Structured Asset Manager / Underwriter.

Position Responsibilities:
Analyze the financial feasibility of new structured lending investment and new CRE private equity investment transactions.
Review diligence and prepare credit memorandums and financial analysis materials which are presented to credit committee for approval.
Manage communications among a diverse mix of internal and external participants including borrowers and fund managers, admin agents, legal (internal and external) business originators within Structured Lending and Investments (SLI) , independent risk and all exposure approvers.
Manage requests from external borrowers or fund managers on any credit extension or modification requests.
Conduct annual credit reviews and Classified Credit Memos (where applicable) on SLI lending facilities and Housing Finance Agency issued investment securities.
Participate in the quarterly Equity Risk Review (ERR) process for the SLI equity portfolio.
Effectively communicate with senior business managers on portfolio performance and potential impacts to returns and risks.
Qualifications:
5-8 years relevant experience
Previous experience in credit card risk management or equivalent training and experience preferably in the financial services industry
Ability to apply credit and risk principles toward business goals
Demonstrated ability to synthesize, prioritize and drive results with a high sense of urgency
Must be highly organized and able to work in a fast paced environment managing multiple projects and possess effective interpersonal, organizational and analytic skills
Additional Qualifications:
BA/BS level degree in Business, Economics, Real Estate Finance and/or prior real estate loan underwriting or relevant Credit Risk evaluation experience.
Ability to analyze structured lending and equity transactions for feasibility and assess market factors, critical risks and mitigants.
Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to multi-task under tight deadlines.
High attention to detail and the desire to take ownership of a process to drive towards resolutions.
Individual must have excellent communication, organizational, analytical and interpersonal leadership skills, as well as the ability to multi-task under tight deadlines
Proficiency in MS Office applications is preferred.
Adhere to and promote a culture of excellence, ethics and regulatory compliance.
Desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
