Mid-level position responsible for providing operations support services, including but not limited to; record/documentation maintenance, storage & retrieval of records, account maintenance, and email review oversight in coordination with the A&T Operations. Additionally, the Analyst serves as the liaison between operations staff, managers, front office, and technology to provide day-to-day operations support in alignment with Citi operations support infrastructure and processes.


  • Serve as technical authority for an area within the business providing advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business as well as provide operational assistance
  • Perform analysis to define problems, develop innovative solutions, streamline operational processes, and expand Operations capabilities for new products and services
  • Communicate regularly with all Operations teams and departments
  • Maintain knowledge of Citi’s operational procedures, best practices in business strategy and process/quality improvements to provide customized business solution recommendations to internal clients
  • Analyze existing operational processes and apply creativity to complex situations, as needed
  • Lead projects across multiple Operations areas, serving as an analytical and/or procedural expert and coach other team members on operational processes
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience [5+ years of experience]
  • Experience in developing risk management programs, identifying all significant processes, risks, and assessing key controls and monitoring associated with these significant processes
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented
  • Proven organization project and time management skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Required knowledge of SWIFT messaging standards and ability to troubleshoot and resolve client reporting and connectivity issues [ EF]
  • Assist with operational processes and process improvements [MA]
  • Ensure transactions or processes are executed correctly and compliant with internal policies and controls [MA]
  • Facilitate the investigation, documentation and corrective action implementation or transaction serviced issues [MA]
  • Aid with the transition, alignment, and stabilization efforts of critical operations functions [MA]
  • Cross-train for various internal role within the department and provide back-up coverage as needed [MA]
  • Assist as required for control, risk, and daily activities and transaction services projects [MA]
  • Perform all required tasks within established procedures and controls to minimize losses [MA]
  • REG S - 144A conversions, preferred but not required [MC]
