The Rewards and Recognition Operations Intermediate Analyst (Ops Sup Intermed Analyst) is an intermediate level position responsible for providing operations support services, including but not limited to; record/documentation maintenance, storage & retrieval of records. Additionally, the Ops Sup Intermed Analyst serves as the liaison between operations staff, relationship managers, project managers, custodians, and clients. The overall objective of this role is to provide day-to-day operations support in alignment with Citi operations support infrastructure and processes.

The successful candidate will be a member of the HR Compensation & Benefits Product on the Rewards and Recognition team to facilitate systems operational support and project implementations supporting Rewards and Recognition, Work Strategies, and Employee Giving programs.  Systems range in size, complexity, and in-house and vendor-based solutions.  The successful candidate will work closely with HR, Finance, and Technology clients across all Citi businesses and geographies; he/she will partner to develop process and systems solutions to support business and global reward/recognition strategies, including end-to-end operations of data analysis and reporting, award program planning, and the end-user experience. 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform in-depth evaluation of basic operations and business processes, family procedures, and industry standards for business supported to identify and resolve complex problems
  • Provide basic operational support for Rewards and Recognition and/or HR operations activities in accordance with established systems and procedures
  • Provide training and ongoing support to the end-user groups.
  • Liaises with multiple teams across the Operations department
  • Coordinate and contribute to initiatives that support the goals of the Operations function and overall business
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
  • Partner with the technical development team with responsibility for system enhancements and support activities.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Two to five years’ experience in supporting HR systems or similar services for demanding clients
  • Ability to define strategic solutions and develop plan to accomplish.
  • Ability to build and cultivate positive client relationships in complex organizations.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and adapt quickly to changing client needs.
  • Ability to work concurrently on multiple priorities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team and cross-functional team members.
  • Strong analytical skill set and affinity for metrics and data required.
  • Previous experience with systems or affinity for technology is a plus.
  • Previous experience with systems and query writing (SQL, PeopleSoft Query, Business Objects) is preferred.
  • Understanding of HR or Data Quality function a plus
