About Global Deposits & Investments (D&I) Product Group

Global D&I group is responsible for strategy and execution of creating and managing new products and Deposit/Overdraft Pricing solutions globally. Currently the group manages solutions such as Interest Bearing and Non-Interest Demand Deposit Accounts, Fixed and Extended Term Deposits, Earnings Credit Rate Accounts, Citi Interest Optimization and Online Investments Money Market Funds across 90+ markets where TTS operates. The group plays a pivot role in raising operating deposits for the firm with over $500Bn of Deposits held today by clients in various forms of deposit products.

Role/Product Description

As the Liquidity Management Services (LMS) business embarks on a complex, multi-year transformation program to realize the business vision of a Real-Time, Intelligent, Responsive and Global network, it is necessary and timely to evolve and grow the product development practice which will be relied upon to progress our innovation agenda. As such, LMS is seeking a Product Governance Execution Manager to support the Product Management team across products and with associated risk and controls.

Responsibilities

Client advocate

  • Understand complex client requirements and adapt existing capabilities to meet client needs, including product solutioning, documentation and risk framework
  • Support client experience initiatives including client satisfaction and engagement, e.g. Documentation Rationalization, Voice of the Client
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to recommend enhancement and capabilities

Metrics and Controls Owner

  • Support the management of data within the Product Approval Program (e-PAP) and Product and Capability Availability matrix (“Capability Grid”)
  • Ensure all identified risks and controls are contained within the PAP and associated ARCMs (Activity, Risk, Control, Monitoring) are in place
  • Support monitoring for key processes and controls for the business
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory, compliance, and legal frameworks
  • Identify, own and manage inherent risk in the Product and take measures to mitigate risk
  • Raise, manage and remediate any CAPs (Corrective Action Plans) pertaining to the Product
  • Liaise with similar controls partners to inform risk management framework
  • Strong partnership with TTS Global In Business Control to demonstrate compliance with all aspects of enterprise, regulatory requirements and operational risk mitigation
  • Partner with regional product and in business control teams to develop end to end understanding and appreciation of regional/country specifics within Risk and Controls Framework. Ensure Global and Regional product team alignment.
  • Support SIRR and NAC (New Product Approval) initiatives, including Product Inventory and product look-back for prior NACs. Monitor compliance with NAC procedures.
  • Develop Exception Management Process
  • Support any ongoing regulatory projects as needed

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience across multiple-function and/or global business
  • Experience in a risk-related role and understanding of the policies that govern our business
  • Experience in product management, product development or product marketing preferably in treasury solutions and or financial technology products (fin-tech)
  • Analytical and strategic thinking skills – ability to distill business direction analyzing and defining a target market, studying competition and understanding Citi’s core competencies
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required. MBA or other relevant business degree a plus
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills;
  • Impeccable attention to details, ability to analyze and synthesize large amounts of data
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
