The Prcs Ctrl Sr Alyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Excellent communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify key operational risks exposures through Risk Identification assessment of data elements (MCAs, Issues, Scenario Analysis, Model Risk, Op Losses)
  • Present analytical findings, results of analysis and quantitative factors for Risk Identification & Issues Management
  • Identify what Universal Key Indicators and Key Indicators are relevant to applicable key operational risk exposures
  • Develop and refine reporting methodology and ongoing monitoring and evaluation to mitigate potential control deficiencies.
  • Interact with subject matter experts to identify, interpret and analyze information, report findings or conclusions, and suggest approaches for enhancing processes.
  • Setting business requirements for Business Intelligence tools
  • Assist in the preparation and consolidation of dashboard and other reports
  • Provide support on other key initiatives and requirements that collectively cover execution, oversight and reporting of Operational Risk activities. 
  • Assist with the maintenance and updating of the Global Functions ORM Governance Procedures and/or departmental procedures
  • Provide support to Finance and Global Functions organizations with queries related to operational risk related matters
  • Participate in Ops Risk working group meetings
  • Participate in or perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years relevant experience with operational risk
  • Knowledgeable on Cognos, Microtstrategy, Power BI, KNIME and/or other digital solution
  • Strong understanding of Operational Risk & Control environment
  • Strong understanding of CitiRisk and Citi Risk & Control platform and the Operational Risk Policy and associated standards and central procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure and function independently
  • Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience

We are currently working on a hybrid schedule consisting of 2-3 days in office and the remainder remote (specific details depend on location and business group). This is not a remote only role.

$76,510-$114,770
