Payroll Taxonomy Global Digital Automation Lead Manager - SVP (Hybrid)
The Payroll Taxonomy Global Digital Automation Lead Manager is a strategic professional who closely follows latest automation tools for digital automation and adapts them within Global Payroll Services. The candidate should expertise in payroll operations and automation. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally with Technology partner, often at a senior level. Has developed communication skills and diplomacy skills in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular Global Payroll Services Leadership team and occasional external vendors of improvement strategies. Accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding automation solutions, reduction of manual touchpoints and successful implementation operations for Global Payroll Services. Necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategic solution. Responsible for handling staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project. Strong ability to assess business processes within Payroll, identify automation opportunities, assess value to the organization and manage change implementation/transformation.
Responsibilities:
- Performs business analysis support for Payroll operations organization; Creates and manages the documentation of internal digital automation and business requirements.
- Serves as subject matter expert for digital automation to reduce manual touchpoints and minimize risk by applying these strategies to payroll operations globally.
- Creates and manages the documentation of technology business requirements; manages the business analysis and documentation of system change specifications; and implementation of user application test plans.
- Strong technical background and payroll operations knowledge to best identify digital solutions while still ensuring the integrity of the process and not compromising the control and introducing risk.
- Designs test plans and identifies and documents discrepancies found through the ability to accurately assess output against expected results; Resolves discrepancies with technical and/or business personnel, communicates issues and results clearly, and retests as required.
- Creates and publish project plans for digital automation clearly documenting productivity savings, risk avoidance and overall benefits.
- Provide training and documented instructions to payroll operations teams to utilize digital automation tools.
- Interacts with payroll operations managers & cluster leads on production and project support to raise business cases for funding and resources.
- Plans and execute complex projects and coordinate over a broader departmental spectrum.
- Leadership role managing a team of professions. Directly responsible for managing, coaching and training the team
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in digital automation and transformation
- Strong understanding of payroll operational processes for large global operation
- Ability to create use cases and work closely with technology partners
- Strong communication skills, including PowerPoint and presentations.
- Strong analytical skills
- People Management experience

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$119,680.00 - $179,520.00
