The Institutional Clients Group (ICG) Risk Oversight & Program Management (OPM) team coordinates across ICG Risk teams to ensure appropriate infrastructure, resource allocation and controls for the independent risk management of Citi's ICG products and clients globally. OPM also partners with 1st, 2nd and 3rd line units, as well as other internal teams to improve processes and tools. 

The Data/Information Sr Analyst is a seasoned professional that creates actionable business insights and develops new techniques to improve information flow and consumption. They will evaluate moderately complex and variable issues, to development reporting solutions and process improvements. This individual requires strong analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Excellent communication and diplomacy skills are required to influence decisions, and effectively work across projects, organizations and geographies.


  • Perform data and trending analytics related to headcount, employee on-boarding and issue metrics

  • Design and develop reporting to strengthen Risk framework, through collaboration with ICG Risk, Risk Governance, Internal Audit and other internal teams

  • Maintain data and document repository tools such as SharePoint and other web-based applications to enable effective communication and information access control and to reduce email manual touchpoints

  • Facilitate key leadership meetings, business office meetings, and interactions through the preparation and dissemination of presentations, meeting minutes and general updates

  • Develop appropriate templates and schedules to collect data supporting metrics reporting program

  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports and updates for key stakeholders

  • Share best practices and promote an environment of continuous improvement

  • Implement controls to enhance integrity of key management reporting

  • Provide weekly / monthly / quarterly monitoring against targets, escalating risks through defined channels

  • Summarize large volumes of data into meaningful reports that can direct business decision-making

  • Accountable for regular reporting or process administration as owner

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


  • 5-8 years of experience in analytics and reporting

  • Ability to think strategically, creatively problem solve, and the ability to engage resources outside of their direct control to achieve objectives

  • Working experience in a quantitative field

  • In depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, with advanced experience using Excel, PowerBi and other Business Intelligence tools

  • Experience working in highly matrixed organization

  • Considerable experience with senior management engagement

  • Proven experience in turning data into actionable insights


  • Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience
