Job Description:

Manage the end to end onboarding process for all HRSS related vendors, minimizing Citi’s risk associated with implementation and ongoing performance obligations. Maintain and track contract expirations for multiple business areas.  


  • Partner with Citi Sourcing to evaluate and select vendors for HRSS through RFI & RFP processes
  • Ensure clear line of communication between Citi Sourcing, Business Activity Owner and business owners during the onboarding process.
  • Serve as single point of contact for all vendor related issues, maintain appropriate escalation protocols
  • Partner with business owners to avoid exposure to High Risk Exceptions and minimize Medium and Low Risk Exceptions through efforts including Cross Border Data Clearances, Third Party Information Security Assessments, Architectural reviews and approvals
  • Ensure Corrective Action Plans are in place as needed, and actioned on a timely basis
  • Actively monitor all stages of vendor onboarding for timely completion to avoid implementation delays
  • Maintain onboarding project plans and dashboards as required to present status updates to business owners and leaders
  • Be a lead for project members on Third Party Management processes
  • Partner with Citi Sourcing points of contacts to ensure all expiring contracts have a proactive plan in place


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 6- 10 years of demonstrated vendor onboarding and project management experience
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills, to all levels in the organization including senior level
  • Ability to work within a global environment with virtual teams
  • Advanced organizational skills including attention to detail, multi-tasking and following up
  • Risk averse mindset
  • Creative thinker with demonstrated ability to deliver innovative processes and solutions to solve complex problems
  • Highly developed ability to work collaboratively and build productive relationships across multiple boundaries (geographic, business and function) with multiple levels of management, from VPs to senior level executives
  • Strives for “best in class” practices
  • Proficient at Microsoft Excel and Project, sufficient to manage small to large-scale initiatives
  • Fluent in English
