Responsibilities
The Transformation Lead is a senior management role with responsibility for working with the Product organization in defining requirements, building workflows, testing, building out an operations team and on-boarding clients to a new accounting platform. This includes and is not limited to working across all streams and overseeing the deployment of key requirements, successful testing and end-to-end operational readiness and resourcing & training of key personnel. A close and effective working relationship with internal partners in Technology, Product, and eventually Client Executive and Account Management is a key requirement.
The role-holder will form part of our Digital First Leadership Team and will participate/lead presentations to senior management on status.
Project success will drive consolidation of legacy accounting platforms to FundGuard.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Developing current state/future state requirements documents working with the Product team
- On-boarding additional operations team members to support the pilot work
- Ensure end-state service and operating models are aligned strategically, they are robust and processes & controls are compliant with Citi, Client and other parties (e.g., Regulators, Auditors) policies and requirements
- Assist in setting and executing our operational readiness strategies as they relate to new client onboarding
- Ensure the hand-over plan from project and conversion to BAU is fully documented and tested
- Oversee the conversion activities and related parallel runs
- Working with the operational teams to ensure agreed service level standards are realistic and attainable in a sustainable and robust environment
- Minimize the number of MTP’s in the operations and in advance of go-live ensure there is a ‘path to automation’ for any manual / semi-automated process.
- Work with global locations as necessary to ensure end-to-end workflows and controls, enhancements, and models are fully tested and operationally ready
- Provide senior management with effective reporting as well as maintain an environment where progress is monitored and managed effectively, and potential risks escalated on a timely basis
Qualifications & Experience:
- 15+ years of relevant Fund Administration experience
- 8-10+ years of managerial experience
- Demonstrated experience in operational process management and deployment
- Excellent communication skills, written, oral and presenting to senior stakeholders and clients
- Demonstrated organization and people management skills
- Ability to resolve operational issues and business trade-off
Education:
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equiv
