The Regulatory Reporting function within Finance Risk Shared Services (FRSS) encompasses reporting activities such as report production, report automation, validation, comprehensive variance analysis and timely filing across Prudential, Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR), Risk Weighted Assets (RWA) and Liquidity Reports and other organizations to transform the end-to-end Reporting or Operating Model and all associated processes and platforms.

Finance Reporting Sr. Analyst, AVP

As a Sr. Analyst position within the US Regulatory Reporting – Change Management team, will be part of a strategic team dedicated to the production of relevant material, including post-mortem deck, Issue Management, Control Framework and other key activities.

Involved in the identification and remediation of key gaps in the reporting processes supported by FRSS with responsibility for participating in future state process design, requirements for supporting platforms and testing and implementation of both across the different reporting groups. This role will ensure designed future state global process including governance and operating model become operational in a standardized, sustainable, efficient and well-controlled manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, collection and reporting of relevant material, included but not limited to post-mortem deck, Issue Management, Control Framework and other key activities.

  • Implementation of critical changes to operational procedures, and governance documentation.

  • Design, develop and deliver presentations for Senior Management (proposals, status reports, etc.).

  • Participate in the analysis and development of both tactical and strategic remediation plans, using technologies as Phyton, PowerBi, etc.

  • Responsible for action item execution and operationalization in alignment with plans, implementation of critical changes to operational procedures, and governance documentation.

  • Attend working group sessions, strategy planning and various review sessions to identify and facilitate creation of detailed action plans and commitments with targets.

  • Participate in cross-functional working groups among Data, Infrastructure, Process, Technology and Governance standardization for key reporting functions.

  • Responsible for participating in current reporting processes as needed during the transition period, and future state processes as they are rolled out.

  • Execute on activities assigned per project plan and escalate potential issues identified in working group sessions.

  • Participate in the production of updated operational procedures and control documentation.

  • Respond to ad-hoc queries by the business and engage with them for additional analysis if required.

  • Conduct process and system testing and document and disseminate results.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ yrs. related reporting experience

  • Financial Services Industry and Project Management experience preferred

  • Previous experience using Lean and Agile Methodology

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel

  • Knowledge of emerging / existing digital tools is a plus, including Python, PowerBI, etc.

  • Ability to work with multiple functions

  • Proven problem-solving skills

  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

  • Must have US work authorization we are not sponsoring visas for this role

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering or equivalent in experience

Critical Competencies:

  • Proven skills in operational discipline, analysis, problem solving and critical thinking.

  • Ability to multi-task and be a team player.

  • Clear and concise communication (written, verbal) skills.
