Responsibilities

About the Role:
This specific role will be part of the ERM transformation and governancepillar within ERM CAO & transformation and is for the team’s Risk Board Reporting Transformation Product Manager. The objective of the role is to drive the management of remediation efforts associated with the firm’s Board Reporting efforts. This initiative is global in scope encompassing a diverse set of stakeholders and activities. The objective of the Transformation Product Manager is to provide project management and technology product management to plan, oversee and execute against remediation efforts with key partners. The Transformation product owner is responsible for driving the on-time, complete delivery of all regulatory commitments associated with the book of work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive execution of the transformation book of work efforts within the Measurement, Monitoring, Reporting, & Escalation program in partnership with team members and other transformation teams across the bank and across geographies for timely and effective outcomes that meet the firm’s expectations

  • Lead product management for technology build of new capabilities in ERM, including, but not limited to, risk board reporting cutting across risk stripes, risk appetite statements and assessments, metric maturity assessment, and ongoing analytics build out for various metrics and analytics.

  • Creation of detailed requirements, working through solutions and managing execution and rollout of these solutions, in the context of an overall consistent global platform 

  • Work closely with the businesses and risk stripes. Define and translate business/policy driven needs into tangible application and operational requirements 

  • Implement controls to enhance integrity of key management reporting working with Risk, Finance Compliance and O&T 

  • Ensure teams understand business processes, gaps in capabilities, as well as appropriate data sources, interfaces and process changes required to address the gaps 

  • Alongside team members, stakeholders, and other transformation teams, assess and escalate program dependencies, risks and issues, and drive decisions that move the book of work forward

  • Provide project management support to manage, track and drive the program lifecycle with timely and effective outcomes against regulatory and firm expectations  

  • Problem solving approach and ability to work well under pressure and with changing priorities

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • 6+ years’ financial services implementation experience or related risk and control function 

  • Understanding of variety of risk types (Wholesale Credit, Market, Consumer, Operational, Reputational, Liquidity, etc.) is required

  • Strong ability in interacting with and collaborating with senior business stakeholders 

  • Capable of prioritizing and multi-tasking in a dynamic environment 

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills; Must be articulate and persuasive; Strong Business Writing skills are essential

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred 

  • Proficiency in data analytics, reporting and technology implementation is a plus

  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite including Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Visio.
