Engineering Lead Analyst

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Engineering Lead Analyst for its Tampa, Florida location.

Duties: Perform installation, validation, and automation of artificial intelligence and machine learning products.  Conduct deployments for artificial intelligence and machine learning tools including Dataiku, H20 AI Cloud, Jupyter Notebooks, DataRobot, Python and R distributions. Deployment using containerized platforms including docker, HP Ezmeral with Docker, and Kubernetes distributions. Utilize Python repositories including PyPi, Anaconda and Conda-forge. Build out Jupyter Notebook services including training nodes to run machine learning models built on Tensorflow, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Keras-OCR for image to text processing with huge data sets and deployment nodes. Use Ansible scripting to automate the manual tasks including configuration changes, performing minor upgrades to Python binaries, installing database compatible client tools. Engineer new machine learning products with extensive research and analysis as per the organization’s platform standards including security, reliability, compatibility. Utilize data science and the model development life cycle to facilitate gathering and understanding business requirements. Evaluate the infrastructure architecture to ensure compatibility and integration with other service offerings including Spark. Maintain code repository in GIT and BitBucket. Develop public cloud alternatives including Amazon Web Services and Google Public Cloud to help diversify the service offering. Evaluate and remediate vulnerabilities in all machine learning products deployment. Architect and develop Platform-as-a-Service offering providing programmatic and Automatic Machine learning capabilities with safety net of on-premises based infrastructure. Integrate the machine learning tools with Hadoop to retrieve the business data on to the processing layer and run the machine learning models. Use LINUX operating system to host machine learning tools. Use Java for establishing connections to different hadoop eco system components including Hive and Impala, using Java database connectivity (JDBC) drivers. Use Hive to query the data from hadoop distributed file system (HDFS) via a Hive structured query language. Use MapR file system to store user code, machine learning models and Python environments. Use Lightweight Directory Access protocol (LDAP) and Pluggable Authentication Module (PAM) for authenticating and authorizing users to access the machine learning applications. Provide subject matter expert consultation on analytics and machine learning products. Perform innovation of new technology specific approaches with increased speed, accuracy, and automation, which includes redesign of architecture, procurement of infrastructure on a single click, plug and play components, repaving of infrastructure during patching with persistent data store and with no presence of any risks with respect to hardware and software security vulnerabilities.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and 5 years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience as a Software Engineer, Data Engineer, Technology Lead, Senior Associate or related position involving Engineering Machine Learning products and offering Information Technology and Infrastructure Library (ITIL) services. 5 years of experience must include: Spark; Hive, Impala, Hadoop; Light weight Directory Access protocol (LDAP); and LINUX, Java. 3 years of experience must include: Jupyter Notebooks, Dataiku; Python and R distributions; HP Ezmeral with Docker; Pluggable Authentication Module (PAM); and MapR, GIT, BitBucket.
